The hotel is very nice, very clean and modern. It lives up to being 5* we got a free upgrade on arrival which was amazing because our room had a hammam which was very nice. The Syrian lady at breakfast making at the omelette station was very friendly. Overall very nice hotel and breakfast is very nice and varied too. My mum forget two pieces of clothing items at the hotel and only realised later and when we came back the following day to collect they had it for us which was nice.

Really nice hotel in the center of the city! The bed was really comfortable and big! Staff of the hotel was friendly. Breakfast was really good and fresh, but to be honest doesn’t meet the expectations for a 5 stars hotel.

Room was very well-sized and very well equipped. Furnishing of room was excellent. Beds were really comfy. The hotel upgraded us to a deluxe room from a superior room which was fantastic customer service! The deluxe bathroom is amazing, with a really nice shower and really great bath. The TV doesn’t support Apple AirPlay but it is a Smart TV so it has YouTube and Android Connect. The room service was good. The room was left immaculate every morning, with fresh towels etc provided. The staff are very friendly. The reception staff in particular spoke great English and were immensely helpful. The concierge has a very useful map to help get around Istanbul. The restaurant on the ground floor had reasonably priced food (especially for a hotel) that was actually quite tasty, which I was surprised about as most hotel restaurants tend to be overpriced and underwhelming. The location of the hotel isn’t perfect, but it isn’t bad. It’s a short walk away from Taksim Square (maybe 6 minutes). From Taksim Square, you can get the F1 to Kabatas and then connect to T1 for Sultanahmet etc. So the transport links are good, though the hotel isn’t in the prime hotspot. It is nice and quiet though.

The room & the bathroom is big, clean and comfortable. The hotel is well maintained but it's time for some upgrade, such as new paint/wallpaper, decor, furniture, bathroom vanities, etc. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is good, take about 5-7 minutes to everything, such as bus/metro station, shopping, cafe/restaurants, etc. The breakfast is good with a variety of choices, and the lady who made us eggs is super nice and helpful.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, but what really stood out was the outstanding service provided by Kaan, the valet parking attendant. He was extremely polite, professional, and made us feel very welcomed from the moment we arrived. His prompt assistance and friendly attitude added a personal touch to our experience. The hotel itself was excellent, with comfortable rooms and great amenities. Overall, it was a fantastic stay. Highly recommended!

Rooms were soo clean and specious , breakfast was superb .The Staff were soo welcoming with a great hospitality . I will specially thank HANIEH who went beyond to make my stay extra special and check on me and other guests all the time to make sure they are having a great time at the hotel.She is a true Gem for the hotel.The house keeping lady NURTEN was soo sweet and she made sure everyday that I am happy with my room cleaning . Cleaning wise this was the best hotel I have ever been to in Istanbul and I have never seen hospitality like this before in any other hotel . So I recommend this hotel to everyone please go and make your stay exceptional. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ rating from me 👌

I had a great time at the Barcelo Hotel in Istanbul. They made our stay extra special by giving us a better room for free. It was my partner's birthday, and they surprised her with a yummy birthday cake, which was awesome. One of the staff members named Haniye was super helpful with everything we needed. The hotel is really close to where the airport shuttles are, so it's super convenient if you're flying in or out. The restaurant at the hotel was really nice, and the food was delicious. They had a big breakfast buffet with lots of choices, and you could even ask the chef to make something special for you. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the Barcelo Hotel. If you're visiting Istanbul, I totally recommend staying there.
